The hotel offers clean and very comfortable rooms with a beautiful four-poster bed, although some noise due to its location above reception and facing the car park can be a downside. The service was friendly, especially highlighted by the barmaid Jessica, while the location, with a lovely smokehouse restaurant nearby, is a definite plus point. The dining experience, although not in the hotel itself but at Mad Hatters Restaurant, was described as 'fabbo. '

The hotel has character and charm with a four-poster bed in the room, but attention to details let it down. The bathroom was surprisingly double the size of the bedroom, which felt awkward. Despite this, the location in beautiful countryside with stunning gardens was a highlight of our stay.
